Coalitions
On March 23, 2010, the results of the most recent youth survey conducted in
Upper Bucks were released in the form of the 2010 Student Support Card.
These are the answers provided by almost 3,000 teenagers to our survey given in the fall of 2009 to all
8th, 10th and
12th graders attending school in upper Bucks County. The survey is developed by the Search Institute of Minneapolis, MN and consists of 156 questions. This survey measures the level of the 40 Development Assets in youth along iwht the level of 24 risk behaviors. (Executive Summary)
justCommunity, Inc., is the coordinating agency and fiscal agent for the Upper Bucks Healthy Communities Healthy Youth Coalition, (UBHCHY). The UBHCHY Coalition represents all of the municipaliites of the Palisades, Pennridge abd Quakertown school districts. The UBHCHY Coalition is also a member of the Bucks Promise for Healthy Communities and Youth. The UBHCHY is partially funded through a federal grant from the Drug Free Communities Support Program.
