While it’s illegal for teens to purchase tobacco products and taboo for them to smoke them in public, Quakertown is now debating how to prevent it from continuing. While some advocates are in favor of a ban on teen smoking, where teens would be fined for smoking in public or sent to an educational class in order to curb smoking and littering, others disagree, advocating for prevention efforts instead.
